A: As a police officer I would respond to many assault and battery calls. Some of these victims had some martial arts training. Too often people will spend 3-5 years and anywhere from $2,000-$4,000 trying to earn a black belt, and only then (maybe) will they begin to learn true self defense.
A: Corporate executives whom travel overseas and want to feel confident that they will know what to do if attacked abroad. These executives are very busy and do not have the time to commit to a long term contract to a dojo.
We've had parents wanting us to train their sons and daughters whom are college bound. We've had people enroll a friend as a cool gift.
We've had several martial-arts teachers whom wish to learn in order to teach their students and add variety to their dojo's programs.
We’ve been contracted many times by corporate Executive Protection/Close Protection Officers aka security agents, whom travel domestically and abroad. Mexico and Latin America seem to be where we get most calls to travel to.
We’ve prepared newly hired police recruits to pass their POST Self-Defense/Arrest & Control techniques as well as prepare them for their tactical challenge which is conducted near the end of their academy training
A: It is important to know that the course does entail the student go through rigorous physical conditioning while learning the techniques. The exercises are to strengthen the muscles to be able to move the body in a way to effectively implement the techniques.
A: It's very important that the instructors have "real world" experience in what they teach. Our instructors have years of law enforcement/military/executive protection experience. Not always were these operatives armed with a firearm when working. However, their knowledge of RCS made them effective professionals in their field.
